We are also located within walking distance to downtown Tempe's shopping, dining and entertainment disctrict.

This hotel has a swimming pool and two whirlpools available for you to enjoy, and you are able to order a rollaway bed to add to your room if you desire (based on availability).
The Mission Palms recently completed an $8 million guest room renovation , and now all rooms are in a residential style with the colors in keeping with the warm rich colors of the Sonoran Desert. The new guest rooms feature the following;

Restaurants: For your culinary pleasure, the hotel has the Mission Grille restaurant open for breakfast and lunch, and Harry’s Lounge available for lunch and dinner. As the hotel is right next to downtown Tempe’s historic Mill Avenue, there are an incredible SEVENTY restaurants within walking distance to meet any taste or budget. You can explore a complete list of Mill Avenue District restaurants here. But suffice to say, there are several coffee houses (including a Starbucks), a Subway, a Jack-in-the-Box, a Dunkin’ Donuts, a Chili’s restaurant close by, and an Irish pub just a few steps away from the hotel. There are several sandwich places, burger joints, delis, sports bars, and even an historic steak house within a few minutes’ walk. Pick any cuisine (okay, maybe not French), and it is very nearby: Chinese, Greek, Mexican, Italian, Japanese, Turkish, Irish, and even Hawaiian.
Transportation: The hotel is also right next to a light rail station, which provides easy access to the Heard Museum, the Phoenix Art Museum, Pueblo Grande Museum, the Phoenix Theatre, the Arizona Science Center, and Historic Heritage Square. Accessibility: The hotel has 11 ADA rooms, and all the function space is handicapped accessible.
Your guaranteed reservation holds your room until 5am the following day, just in case your arrival gets delayed.
Should you need to cancel your reservation, please be sure to do so at least 72 hours in advance to avoid being charged for one night’s accommodations.
Check-in time is 3pm, and check-out time is 12noon. If you need something earlier or later, please ask the hotel and they will try to help you out. There is some (limited) storage space where the hotel can store your bags if needed.
The hotel will charge each room a $50 deposit against “incidentals” (room service, in-room snacks, etc), but will refund this upon check-out.
The hotel accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diner’s Club, traveler’s checks and US currency for payment of rooms and any incidental charges. There is also an ATM located in the hotel’s lobby for your convenience.
Pets: Pets up to 50 pounds can be accommodated, and must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas. A deposit is required, and other rules apply. For more information, you can download this waiver from the hotel.

Airport Shuttle
As a courtesy to our guests, the Tempe Mission Palms Hotel provides complimentary transportation to and from Sky Harbor International Airport every half-hour from 5:30am - 10:30pm. Upon arrival after picking up luggage, please contact the hotel to request shuttle transportation (480-894-1400). Courtesy phones are located in the baggage claim area.
